Hello all,
My praises to the blacklisting features now available in Domino 6 as our spam has been cut by I'd say better than 90%. However some of the spam that is still getting through is really puzzling me. I use a lot of country codes in my "Deny messages from the following Internet addresses/domains" and "Deny connections from the following SMTP Internet hostnames/IP addresses" fields. For example is have set to deny .uk; .ca; .co; and so on. Most spam that we receive tends to have something like this in the SMTP Originator field or in the Received field, yet some of these are getting through. This didn't use to occur before I enabled blacklisting, but now for example yahoo.ca gets through, but yahoo.uk does not. Is there a limitation on how big my list can be or is there any other possible explanation? I have approxiamtely 80 entries in my deny messages field and fewer than than in my deny connections field.
